Kol Ami at the Zoo!

Are you a family with teens 8th through 12th grade? A family with  littles through young ones, babies through 7th grade? A grown up who loves animals and their Jewish community?!  A Senior that would love to connect with the younger generation? Come meet us at Woodland Park Zoo! 

First, for teens grade 8th through 12th, we're having a kick-off with our KATY (Kol Ami Temple Youth) MITZVAH CORPS event!  Teens (Parents do not need to be with the group) will meet Danielle Price by the West Entrance (between the zoo store and the penguin exhibit) for a super fun scavenger hunt, rain or shine!  

For families with kids up to 7th grade, we'll be run concurrently with the Kol Ami Mitzvah Corp program for teens.  Drop your teen off for fun while the rest of your family joins in on the games. Meet up at 9:30am on the playground and get to know other families through some fun games to learn the middot we will be looking for. At 10:00 AM teams of kids and parents will be given clues, a map, and some super secret supplies, then each team will be unleashed upon the zoo to complete their scavenger hunt. Don't worry - help will be a text away as we will have volunteers posted in a few spots around the zoo to assist with clues. You'll meet back up at noon by the playground to reward everyone's hard work and share in our learning!  Please bring a picnic lunch and plan on staying to enjoy some community time. Desserts will be provided by Kol Ami. Reservations are required to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone.

Zoo tickets and lunches are the responsibility of each attendee. Please note that tickets are available for Kol Ami families in financial need. Please let us know when you register.  Questions?
