This year we have exciting, inclusive events for all, in-person and on Zoom. We encourage you to participate and bring friends as we grow our Jewish community. Scroll to see all of our events!

Night 1,  11/28, 

Light Up the Night Kirkland  4 - 6:30pm

A Hanukkah Gathering hosted by Kol Ami - A Center for Jewish Life

Located at Juanita Beach Park, 9703 NE Juanita Dr, in Kirkland under both Shelters. Our most EPIC Hanukkah party to date! All are welcome. Come participate in crafts, eat some donuts, light some candles, and join in on a sing-a-long! We'll have exciting special performers there that will really light up the night. Plan on having dinner at Spud Fish & Chips across the street.  Tell them you are with Kol Ami and receive a free tumbler for a free drink and 10% off your total order.  Be sure and dress warm and bring a friend or two!

 

Nights 2 - 5,  11/29 - 12/2  

Candle Lighting / Zoom from Home  5:30pm

We will meet on Zoom only, every evening. Stay cozy in your own home as we light our candles together as a community and share in the warmth of the season. Encourage your family and friends to join....Plan ahead!

Night 6,  12/3 

Shabbat Hanukkah / TWO EVENTS!  5 & 7:30pm

1. Hanukkah Story Time & Candle Lighting

Led by Rabbi Yoyo and critter friends, on Zoom and in person.  Bring or grab a blanket and listen to Rabbi Yo tell a Hanukkah story. 

2. Hanukkah Kabbalat Shabbat

Enjoy a meditative Hanukkah Shabbat service led by Rabbi Kinberg, featuring our choir, led by Susan Bardsley.  On Zoom or on site in the Chapel (doors located in the parking lot.) Meet up with or bring a friend or co-worker!

Night 7,  12/4 

Hanukkah Cabaret  5pm  On Zoom Only.

Come to the computer and enjoy music on themes of light and darkness by women and non-binary people. Performers will include Marge Eiseman, Megan McGrath, Jon Muchin, and more. Have your own Havdalah and nosh while listening to some awesome music! Be sure and invite a friend, a family member, or someone else from our Kol Ami community to share this evening and to light your candles with!  

Night 8,  12/5 

Candle Lighting / Zoom from Home  5:30pm

For the eighth and final night of Hanukkah, we will celebrate in our own homes, by Zoom, to light the last candle in our menorah.  Be apart of wrapping up this season together.
